About Kadrova

Kadrova is a platform that matches clients with independent professional photographers for photoshoots across Poland, including weddings and wedding portrait sessions, engagements, proposals, couples, families, maternity, newborns, First Communions and christenings, birthdays and personal branding. Clients send a free availability request and receive a personal proposal naming the photographer, the package and the price.

What is Kadrova?

Kadrova, tagline *Photography Experiences in Poland*, is a booking platform for professional photoshoots in Polish cities and the Tatra Mountains. It connects people who want to be photographed with independent photographers who work locally.

Kadrova does not sell fixed packages from a shop. Each request is checked individually against the photographers who suit the date, the place and the type of session and who are free that day. You then receive a proposal to accept or decline.

Clients include people who live in Poland, people who have recently moved here for work or study, and visitors who come for a few days, for example to propose in Kraków or to be photographed on the beach in Sopot.

Where does Kadrova operate?

Kadrova arranges sessions in twelve places, each with its own page on the best spots, the light and getting around:

Sessions outside these cities, such as a wedding venue in the countryside or a family home nearby, can also be requested. The photographer's travel is then included in the price stated in the proposal. All places are listed on the locations page.

What services are available?

Kadrova arranges the following types of session, each with a starting price:

The wedding portrait session is what Poles call a *plener ślubny*: a separate shoot of the couple in their wedding outfits, usually on another day. Every session type is described on the services page.

How does booking work?

Booking through Kadrova follows four steps:

  1. You send a free, no-obligation availability request with the date, the place and the type of session.
  2. Kadrova checks which suitable photographers are free and replies personally.
  3. You receive a proposal naming the photographer, the package and the price.
  4. The booking is confirmed when you accept the proposal. Payment terms, such as a deposit (in Polish, *zadatek*), the cancellation terms and the delivery time are stated in the proposal.

A request does not hold you to anything. You decide once you have read the proposal.

How are photographers selected?

The photographers are independent professionals, not employees of Kadrova. Each one is reviewed before joining, on five criteria:

  • their portfolio;
  • their experience with the type of session, since a wedding day asks for different skills than a newborn shoot;
  • the languages they speak;
  • their knowledge of the places they work in;
  • their reliability.

Each photographer has a profile on the photographers page showing their work and languages. Photographers set their own package and price at or above the platform's starting prices, and they issue their own invoice or bill.

How does pricing work?

Every price on Kadrova is a starting price in Polish złoty. An express session of about 30 minutes starts from PLN 500, and a classic one-hour session from PLN 750. Any session in Zakopane starts from PLN 1,050, except weddings, wedding portrait sessions and newborn shoots, which have their own higher floors.

The final price depends on the photographer, the place, the date, the time of day, the duration and add-ons such as video, drone footage, an extra hour, a weekend date, a sunrise slot, travel outside the city, an album or a second photographer. The proposal states the exact figure before you commit. All starting prices are on the pricing page.

Which languages does Kadrova work in?

The Kadrova website is available in Polish, English and Ukrainian, and requests can be written in any of the three. The languages each photographer speaks vary and are shown on their profile.

If you need an English-speaking or Ukrainian-speaking photographer, for example because some of your wedding guests do not speak Polish, say so in your request and we will check who is free on your date.
