Quick answers

How much does it cost?
Anniversary Photoshoot starts from PLN 750. The final price depends on the place, duration, date, time of day, travel and any add-ons such as video, and is stated in your proposal before you book.
How long does it take?
A typical session lasts 1 hour and you receive around 30 edited photos.
What is included?
  • A planning exchange: the occasion, the place, the time of day and who will be in the photos
  • A route set to your pace, with short stretches and somewhere to sit
  • About 60 minutes of photography in the starting package: portraits as two, a walk, close-ups of hands and rings
  • A few frames with children or grandchildren if they join for part of the session
Where does it take place?
Popular places include Warsaw, Kraków, Gdańsk, Wrocław, and Poznań. Your photographer suggests the best spot for your date, the light and the crowds.
Who is it for?
  • Couples marking a first, fifth or tenth wedding or relationship anniversary
  • Couples celebrating a silver or golden wedding anniversary
  • Adult children giving their parents or grandparents a session as an anniversary gift
  • Couples with children who want portraits as two and a few frames as a family
How does booking work?
Send a free request with your place, date and plans. Kadrova checks which photographers are available and replies with a proposal stating the photographer, the package and the exact price. Nothing is booked until you accept.

Wedding photographs end up in an album, and the years after are mostly selfies and family-party snapshots where someone is always blinking. An anniversary photoshoot is an hour for the two of you: the photographer picks the light and the angle, and you simply walk together the way you always do.

Any anniversary works. The first, while everything still feels new; the tenth, when there are children in the picture; the 25th and the 50th, which Poles call silver and golden wedding anniversaries (srebrne and złote gody) and which children and grandchildren often give as a present. You can also go back to where you married or got engaged: the church steps, a riverside bench, the park where the question was asked.

Kadrova does not employ photographers. We match you with an independent professional who knows the place and has experience photographing couples, and send a proposal with their name, package and price before anything is booked. If you would simply like good photos of the two of you with no particular occasion, see our couple photoshoot.

How it works

  1. 1

    Send a request

Tell us the city, the date or a range of dates, the occasion and how many people will be there. If the session is a surprise for your parents or grandparents, say so and we will arrange everything with you alone. The request is free and carries no obligation.

  2. 2

    We match a photographer

We check which photographers are free at that place and time, and reply personally. If you want to return to the church where you married or to your wedding venue, we tell you what to ask the parish or the owner.

  3. 3

    You receive a proposal

It names the photographer and states the duration, what is included, the price and the payment terms, including what happens if the weather turns. The delivery time is stated there too. See pricing for how starting prices work.

  4. 4

    The session

The photographer agrees a meeting point with you, ideally one you can reach by car or taxi. They guide you calmly with simple prompts rather than complicated poses.

Where the session happens

Often the best place is the one that means something to you, and the photographer will choose the hour to suit it. If you are looking for somewhere new, Kraków has the Planty, a ring of park with paved paths, and the boulevards below Wawel; see couple photoshoots in Kraków. In Warsaw, the flat paths of Łazienki Park are calm and easy to walk, but the park has its own rules for sessions, so check them first; more in couple photoshoots in Warsaw. On the coast there is the Long Embankment in Gdańsk and the beach in Sopot, and in Toruń the Gothic Old Town and the Philadelphia Boulevard. Sessions in Zakopane start from PLN 1,050, as they take more time and travel.

Preparation tips

  • Book the last hour before sunset. Soft, low side light is kinder to faces than the midday sun.
  • Bring something from your wedding day: a photograph, the veil, a tie or the invitation. A frame of you holding your own wedding photo is one the family will want on the wall.
  • For a golden anniversary, plan short stretches with a bench on the way. Two spots close together beat a long walk over cobbles.
  • If children or grandchildren are joining, invite them for the second half. Start calmly as two, then add the bustle.
  • Wear clothes you feel good in, in colours that go together without matching. Walk there in comfortable shoes and carry the smart ones.
  • If the session is a surprise gift, check first that the couple has no other plans that day and feels up to a walk.

Frequently asked questions

How much does an anniversary photoshoot cost in Poland?

An anniversary session through Kadrova starts from PLN 750 for about an hour in a city, or from PLN 1,050 in Zakopane and the Tatras. The price rises with a longer session, a second location, an early start, longer travel or an album. You see the exact figure in your proposal before you book.

Can we have photos where we got married?

Yes, and it makes a fine anniversary session. Streets, parks and riverbanks do not normally need permission, but churches, wedding venues and castle grounds set their own rules. Ask the parish or the owner before the day, and the photographer will suggest how to show the place from outside.

Will a golden anniversary session be too tiring?

The session is planned around the couple's pace: short walks, a bench nearby and a spot you can be driven to. The hour is time for photographs, not a march, and it can be split with a break. Mention any mobility needs in your request and the photographer will choose a flat route.

Can our children or grandchildren join?

Yes, children and grandchildren can join for part of the session, ideally the second half. If the main aim is a large portrait of several generations, a family photoshoot from PLN 800 fits better. Tell us the number of people in your request, as it affects the scope.

Can the photographer cover a vow renewal?

Yes, the photographer can document a symbolic vow renewal that you prepare yourselves, such as reading your wedding words in a park or by the water. Kadrova does not organise the ceremony itself. If you want to renew your vows in a church, agree the photography rules with the parish.

We are visiting Poland for our anniversary. Can we book a session?

Yes. Tell us the city and the dates of your trip, and we look for a photographer who works in English and is free during your stay. The session does not have to fall on the anniversary itself, so any free afternoon of the trip will do.

How do I book?

Send a free availability request with the city, the date and the occasion. We reply personally, and the booking is confirmed when you accept the proposal.

Don’t search for a photographer. Tell us your story.

Tell us where, when and what you’re planning. Matching the photographer and checking the date is our part.
